Description
This impressive large-scale figure captures the iconic image of King Tutankhamun in a classic seated pose, complete with the traditional Nemes headdress, crook, and flail. Crafted from hollow resin and finished in a striking black and faux-gold gilt, this piece exemplifies the bold Egyptian Revival style popular in late 20th-century commercial and theatrical decor. The base is further accented with decorative faux-hieroglyphs. Overall, the piece displays beautifully; however, a close inspection reveals some minor surface scratches, light rubbing to the gold finish on high-relief areas, and typical shelf wear/dust accumulation in the crevices of the resin casting.
