Description
This remarkable specimen is a fossilized dinosaur egg, likely belonging to a Hadrosaur (duck-billed dinosaur) from the Late Cretaceous period, common to the Judith River Formation or similar deposits in Asia. The exterior exhibits the classic “eggshell” texture with a distinct pebbled or “crazed” pattern, characteristic of authentic fossilized nesting remains. It is set within a natural sedimentary matrix base, which has been fitted with felt pads for display. The fossil is in good stable condition, showing typical surface mineralization, some areas of exposed internal matrix, and minor expected chipping to the fragile shell layer consistent with the excavation and preservation process.
