Description
This is a classic piece of television history featuring James MacArthur, the actor who immortalized the role of “Danno” Williams. The 8″x10″ color promotional photograph is boldly inscribed “To Hollywood! Aloha Always. James MacArthur 5-0″ in blue felt tip marker. MacArthur’s portrayal alongside Jack Lord defined the procedural genre in the 1970s, making his signature a staple for any serious Silver Age TV collector. The photo is housed in a contemporary black wood-style frame with a clean white mat. The signature remains vibrant with no signs of bleeding, though the photo shows very minor surface silvering common with age; the frame is in excellent condition with no visible scuffs or chips to the matted glass.
