Hollywood Blvd Cinema Memorabilia
Lot 1264:
Description
This striking, life-size figure captures the regal essence of an Egyptian Pharaoh, likely inspired by the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb. Crafted from heavy cast resin with a variegated bronze and gold-tone finish, the statue features a traditional Nemes headdress, an ornate Shendyt kilt, and sits atop a tiered decorative base. The styling suggests a late 20th-century “Egyptomania” revival piece, often used in themed architectural decor or high-end cinema displays. The piece exhibits minor surface scuffs and light pigment wear consistent with age and handling, particularly around the base and headdress edges, but remains structurally sound with no major chips or cracks visible. H 77″, W 16.5″, D 12″. Please use photos to judge condition and bid accordingly. Please note: Buyer is responsible for removal. From the Hollywood Blvd. Cinemas Collection.
