This lot features two WWII-era German combat belts, quintessential pieces of field gear for the history enthusiast. The first belt includes a steel buckle with the "Gott Mit Uns" (God With Us) motto surrounding the Heer eagle, displaying a dark, patinated finish. The second belt features a pebbled aluminum buckle, often associated with earlier production or specific branches, showing more surface brightness. The leather on both is aged but remains pliable; notably, one belt retains a legible manufacturer’s ink stamp on the interior and a "92" size stamp. These pieces exhibit field-worn character including surface oxidation on the steel, minor scuffing to the leather, and some fraying to the internal stitching.
