Description
This elegant Victorian-style mirrored plateau features a circular beveled mirror set within a heavily ornate, pierced gallery frame. The decorative border showcases classic fleur-de-lis and scrolling acanthus motifs, common in late 19th-century banquet decor. The silver plating displays a deep, authentic patina with significant oxidation, particularly on the underside and within the filigree, lending it a wonderful sense of history. The mirror glass shows surface scratching and minor silvering loss consistent with age, while the metal frame shows heavy tarnish and spots of verdigris; no structural breaks are visible in the casting.
