Description

An 19th to early 20th century Harrington & Richardson (H&R) Arms Company Auto-Ejecting Top Break Revolver. Based in Worcester, Massachusetts, U.S.A., H&R was a major competitor at the time in the “pocket revolver” market, offering quality and functionality at a great price point. The revolver has the company’s name “HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARMS CO” stamped on the barrel rib. The smaller framed H&R displays the patent dates of “PAT OCT. 4 87 MAY 14 & AUG 6 89” on the rib of the barrel. It also features a 6-shot cylinder and is chambered in .32 cal. The serial number “A69788” is stamped on the barrel near the top break and partial serial numbers are visible on the frame under the grip and on the cylinder. The revolver has a 3.25” round barrel, is nickel plated and has checkered grips. It is in good condition for its age. The nickel finish shows patina, some wear, and surface scratches consistent with use and handling for over a century. The bores has oxidation and the rifling is in fair condition. The triggers and actions are tight and smooth. Please see photos for overall condition. Overall length: 7.75”
