Description
This framed painting by Robert Chee, Navajo artist (B. 1937 D. 1971), he was also known as Hashke-Yil-Cale. The painting depicts a Roadrunner in a desert landscape, with sparse vegetation, set against the backdrop of a blue Mesa. Signed by the artist, lower right. Framed in a simple wooden frame. His work can be found in several public museum collections including: The Minneapolis Institute of Art; The Museum of Northern Arizona; and the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian.
