Description
Pomo feathered gift basket circa early 1900s Showcases intricate craftsmanship of the Pomo people of Northern California. Featuring a tightly coiled weave construction using natural fibers. The exterior is adorned with decorative elements such as feathers, abalone, and coral. The condition of the basket is very good, with some loss of external decoration, particularly the abalone on the rim in one section. Dimensions: 4” diameter x 1.75” tall. Please see photos.
