Description
A long and stylish vintage tin sign for “Cigarettes,” dated May 1947. This is a wonderful piece of post-war advertising, featuring a fantastic Art Deco font with a two-tone green, shadowed effect that gives the letters a three-dimensional look. This sign was likely used as a header or department sign in a general store or tobacconist. The sign is in good original condition, showing scattered scuffs, scratches, and minor chips to the paint consistent with its age. Dimensions: 10″ tall x 91″ long.
