Description
An important and early piece of radio history, the RCA Radiola 60 Super-Heterodyne, introduced in 1928. This model is housed in its original Jacobean Revival style “highboy” cabinet, which stands on elegant, tall turned legs. The radio features ornate pressed metal control escutcheons and a lovely fretwork speaker grille in a lyre motif. The cabinet is in fair condition, exhibiting significant wear, scratches, and large areas of finish loss. The internal chassis appears complete with its full set of vacuum tubes, though the back panel is missing. Its working condition is unknown and it is being offered as-is.
