Lot 1339:
Description
Fisk “Twin Tire Sale” Banner. Circa 1930’s. In good condition, with a tear on top edge and from storage (along folds). With original string at corners. A major player in the tire industry in the 1920’s, competition from other companies like US Rubber and systematic price discrimination led to Fisk Rubber Companies demise. From 121 stores in 1930 to 3 stores in 1934, the company was acquired by US Rubber in 1940. A great banner for your Depression Era automotive display. Dimensions 24”x116” (approximately). Please see photos.
