Description
1940’s vintage 2 piece luggage set made by the Shortrip Luggage Co. Set consists of a small suitcase with an inside detachable mirror and a matching smaller cosmetic / jewelry case with included accessories. Both cases are covered in cowhide with a faux alligator finish. Both cases have locking hardware and come with a key. Both cases are in new unused condition. The larger case is monogrammed to TMK and has a removable protective canvas cover. The larger case measures 17.5″ wide, 11.5″ deep, 7″ tall. smaller case measures 10.5″ wide, 7.75″ deep,4″ tall. The Shortrip Luggage Company was an American company that specialized in manufacturing quality luggage in the late 1940’s. The company was located at 171 Madison Avenue in New York.
