Description
Richard Edward Enright (August 30, 1871 – September 4, 1953) was an American law enforcement officer, detective, and crime writer and served as NYPD Police Commissioner from 1918 until 1925. He was the first man to rise from the rank-and-file to assume command of the NYPD. This beautiful cast bas relief bronze plaque was designed by Margurite Smith Rice. It measures 13.5″ wide, 21.5″ tall, 0.75″ deep. In overall VG condition.
