Description
The Busy Bee Graphophone was manufactured by Columbia and marketed by Chicago’s O’Neill James Company. Overall condition good. Bed plate retains 75+% of original paint and pinstriping with some chipping to the corners. Good original decal. Original cast aluminum winding key. Missing reproducer. Machine winds up and runs. Comes with repainted 10″ black horn. It is like Columbia’s Type Q Graphophone except that the mandrel is slightly larger diameter and it has a Busy Bee decal on the base. Requires special Busy Bee records, standard size Edison, Columbia and other branded cylinder records will not play on the Busy Bee.
