Rare coin operated mechanical polo game using the same principal as the Chester Pollard Football, Baseball, and Golf games. We have not been able to find another example of this version. Housed in a steel cabinet with glass sides and an Art Deco style pressed steel top with a chrome trimmed sign cut out. This game came to us in pieces from a Chicago basement. The previous owner had started restoration and has passed. We have re assembled it enough to report that it is all complete with the exception of the glass and the sign glass and light in the hood. The front control panel has the original locks and keys. The original coin mech and cash box is intact. The ball lifter works and the original wood ball is present. Each team has 8 horse mounted players that swing polo mallets when the lever is pressed down. Players, horses, and polo mallets are all in VG condition and swing freely. The players are all wearing hand knit jerseys which hides the mechanics of the arm and mallet. The back drop is hand painted. The steel cabinet has been stripped of paint. This is a great restoration opportunity of a scarce coin op game. Measures 62″ tall, 43″ wide, 19″ deep.
