Cased studio image of a seated Civil War soldier He is in shirt, pants, and suspenders, wearing a turned up brim kepi. He is seated with crossed legs and hands folded on his knee. The painted back drop shows a cannon and trees. It is behind an oval matte stamped Anson. Rufus Anson was an American photographer who had a studio in New York. The matte is behind glass and mounted in a typical leatherette case that is in fair condition. The case measures 3.5″ wide, 4.5″ tall.
