Description
Studio portrait 1/6 plate tintype of a seated Union Sergeant in uniform. He is a burly fellow with a full beard and looks just like you would expect a Civil War Sergeant to look like. His cheeks have been tinted rose. Nice clear image in VG condition mounted behind a gold oval matte under glass in a typical leatherette case with detached hinge.
