Description
This sword blade is marked on the “U.S.” over “J.H.” over “1862”.The blade has no chips or nicks and is fairly bright with discoloration and minor pitting at last 3″ on blade. The tip has a chip on the very, very, very, end. The brass crossguard has nice dark patina. The leather and wire wrap shows much of the leather gone and the wire wrap is almost all loose but present. Scabbard is down to bare steel and has no serious dents or dings. This is a solid sword that needs some TLC.
