Description
This sword has collector notes that state this sword fits the criteria for being a Confederate used sword. We are unsure as to the facts and details. Sword is 43″ total length with 35.5″ blade. Blade is unmarked and maybe scrubbed of maker or dates. The blade has discoloration and darkening but the tip is good and blade edge has no chips or dents. Scabbard has been overly cleaned and is missing one of two scabbard throat screws. The leather and wire wrapped handle show wear and leather loss but wire wrap is intact and tight. Overall condition is fair plus to good and makes for a nice sword for collector or civil war enthusiast.
