Description
This buckle (possible ground dug) is die stuck rolled brass with brass hook and puppy paw lugs. The lugs have file marks on top and hook has line marks. No marker marks seen. Reported to be plate 542 from O’Donnell & Duncan book. Shows hard use and age with nice untouched chocolate patina. Retains most of the original thin lead filler on the reverse.
