Description
This is a fully restored original 16″ diameter by 12″ tall side drum. The drum has been restored with the body, rims, fasteners appearing to be original and wood seems to be maple. The leather, drumheads (skins), rope, catgut strings and leather tabs are modern replacements. The Union eagle has been repainted and is very well executed. Bottom drum head is a bit off center and not very surface tight. Has original price tag and dealer it came from. This is an iconic drum and the most handsome look for display and historical record.
