Description
This is a 17″ diameter and 14.5″ tall drum. It has good sound. It appears the body is made of maple wood. The eagle and shield are very well done modern painted and we think it is added and not a touch up. It is our opinion this drum is from the civil war era and has original rims and body and the skins, ropes, leather tabs are all part of a modern restoration. The rims don’t fix the shins very well and are off center. This drum displays well and the collector concerned this a period drum that had been restored.
