Description
This interesting 1950’s designer lamp with its “layer cake” style shade in overall good condition. The base which is made of chalk features an exotic blossom like design, has original paint and no visible chips or cracks, needs a good cleaning. Lamp has its original shade which is often referred to as layer cake design. The material resembling parchment is in fair condition with rust on the wire frame as well as some minor damage inside the top layer. Is a but yellow from age. Could use a good cleaning. Has its original “Sputnik” style finial. Has its original cord and socket and as with all older electrical items we recommend rewiring or replacing these items. Lamp and shade measures 32″ T X 19″ D. The shade alone measures 19″ D X 12″ T. A very cool MCM item.
