Description
Collection of (2) boxes full of Porter Safety Seals inside an vintage metal lockbox. These originally came from the Sherman House Bank in Chicago IL in the 1930s. These lead seals were used to seal the money bags going to the Federal Reserve Bank. Both Porter Safety Seals boxes appear to be full, one is missing its lid. Metal lockbox opens and closes however is missing its key and is 13" L x 10"W x 5.5"T. please see photos.
