Relics of the American West: 1850-1920
Lot 2253:
Description
Extremely rare and hard to find 1/2 Scale reproduction of Gatling Gun chambered in .32 caliber using sleeves and gravity feed. This Gatling Gun was made by the late Jim Bucci, a gunsmith/Machinist known for his Gatling Gun reproductions. This gun was the last one he was working on when he passed away, so it is not fully completed. It comes with a tripod as well as a wheeled field carriage in the same scale. This gun is incomplete, and is not finished internally. Externally it is complete and the barrels do rotate when the crank is spun. Condition wise it is in fair shape, but has surface rust and corrosion from poor storage, and is missing parts of the tripod. It does come with a box of drawings and lots of internal parts that were partially completed. Excellent project for a gunsmith to finish or display as is. See photos.
