Description
This exceptionally striking pair of contemporary, frontier-style military reproduction leggings features a vibrant blue wool felt body accented with deep red wool binding and heavy buckskin leather trim. Crafted for historical reenactors, theatrical use, or modern regalia, the leggings mimic historic Native American or frontier scout aesthetics but feature modern construction methods, including prominent machine zig-zag stitching on the leather overlays and a tight line of twenty-three stacked dome rivets/buttons running along the inner leg flaps. Attached to the lower edges are colorful yarn tassels in red, yellow, and green. The pieces show minor scattered staining, light surface dirt, and wear consistent with handling and display, but the felt and hide remain remarkably supple and intact. H 37.25″, W 13.5″, D 1″.
