Description
This striking mixed-media sculpture by renowned artist Christopher A. Pardell, titled “Crow Warrior,” masterfully depicts Jim Beckwourth as a Crow warrior charging on horseback. Issued as a limited edition (numbered 398 of 750), the piece features an intricate combination of hot-cast bronze, pewter, and gold-plated accents, beautifully highlighted with turquoise-colored detailing on the headdress and hand-painted war paint on the horse. It is signed by the artist both on the sculpted terrain base and on the polished oval black marble plinth. The sculpture itself is intact with no missing elements to the delicate spear or reins, but the polished stone base exhibits visible cracking. H 12″, W 11.5″, D 7.5″. Please see photos for condition.
