Description
This dynamic mixed media sculpture by renowned artist Christopher A. Pardell, titled “Unexpected Rescuer” and produced by Legends in 1991, masterfully captures a thrilling narrative of a Cheyenne warrior named Chief Comes in Sight being rescued on horseback. Expertly crafted in the USA using a striking combination of hot-cast bronze, fine pewter, and rich gold vermeil accents, the piece is mounted on a premium polished black marble oval base. This particular sculpture is a highly collectible limited edition, individually numbered 177 out of 950. The piece is in good vintage condition, exhibiting some fine cracks in the marble base which do not detract from its overall presentation, while the sculpture itself retains its original vibrant patina and metallic luster alongside light wear on the underside felt and label. H 8″, W 12″, D 7.5″. Please see photos for condition.
