Description

This significant 30 pc collection showcases the transition between lithic and organic technology, featuring several worked stone scrapers, bifacial tools, and a notable lanceolate projectile point with a distinct tapered base. The stone specimens exhibit varied materials including jasper, translucent chalcedony, and high-quality chert, showing clear evidence of percussion and pressure flaking. Accompanying these are numerous bone implements—likely awls, needles, or weaving pins—some of which retain the characteristic cancellous (spongy) bone texture, while others have been polished through repeated use. The collection is in good, stable condition; the bone pieces show expected mineral staining and ancient terminal fractures, while the lithic artifacts display typical edge nibbling and minor field-find chips.
