Bronze Sculpture “The Sergeant” originally modeled in 1904 by American artist Frederic Remington, intended as a tribute to the First US Volunteer Cavalry known as the Rough Riders, with whom Remington rode and deeply respected, bust of a sergeant wearing wide-brimmed hat and a neckerchief, cast in bronze and mounted on a marble base, name plate on front, 11″ x 4″, good condition, see photos.
