Description
This early 20th-century American oak roll-top desk features a classic “S-curve” tambour roll that retracts to reveal a fitted interior with pigeonholes, drawers, and document slots. The desk stands on twin pedestals, each containing a bank of four graduated drawers with carved wooden pulls, flanking a central kneehole with a single wide drawer. The sides and back are finished with recessed panels. A decorative metal escutcheon is mounted on the roll. Condition notes include significant surface wear, scratches, and finish loss to the writing surface and pull-out writing slides.
