Description

An exceptionally rare and historically important early mechanical pin game, “Flying-Trapeze” by the legendary D. Gottlieb & Co. of Chicago. This is one of the foundational games from the dawn of the pinball industry, featuring a wonderful, hand-painted circus theme with trapeze artists. The game is in as-found, project condition. The all-wood cabinet and playfield are heavily weathered and worn. The graphics are faded and stained but still visible. The original top glass for the playfield is missing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated collector to undertake a worthy restoration of a significant piece. Its working condition is unknown and it is being offered as-is. Dimensions: 20.5″ wide x 39″ long x 9.5″ front height x11.5″ rear height.. Legs are 34″ long.
Circa 1940’s cast aluminum carousel horse most likely from a San Antonio Roller Works or a Mangles carousel. All we know is that it came off of a carousel that was parted out in southern Illinois in the 1970’s. The horse is a jumper with very nice paint. Comes mounted on a pole and a steel diamond plate base. Comes with a pair of stirrups but no straps or bridle.
