Description
1700s Spanish made Flintlock Blunderbuss. Caliber approximately .70 Black powder. Very nice Spanish proof marks on on half octagon 14.5″ barrel. Fine engraving on lock and all metal pieces is in very good condition for age. Wood stock is in fantastic condition for age with a couple minor recoil cracks. Flintlock has original metal hook for carrying in belt or sash. Lock does function correctly. This kind of weapon was very popular among both pirates and cavalry for its ease of loading. Possibly a colonial pirate weapon. See photos.
