This circa 1930s Apache Tus water vessel showcases the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the Apache people. Hand woven from natural fibers. It features a wide body with a narrower neck and two small handles. The interior and exterior are coated with a pine pitch to waterproof the vessel making it ideal for carrying water in the arid southwest. The pitch exterior coating is delicate and should be handled cautiously. Dimensions: 10.5β tall x 10.5β wide at waist x 7.75β rim diameter x 4β base diameter. See photos.
