Description
Northern Plains Indians gunstock war club, circa 1880s. Features a slender dark stained wooden handle that widens towards the head reminiscent of a gunstock. The head of the club is fitted with a forged steel blade inserted into the long flat edge of the club. It is decorated with brass tack throughout and is reinforced with a metal cap at its base. Good condition. Dimensions: 26.75” long. Protruding blade 4.5” long. See photos.
