Description
*MAGAZINE ILLEGAL IN ILLINOIS*
Desirable, early Irwin-Petersen M1 carbine with WWII configuration with no bayonet lug and has the flip rear sight. The barrel is stamped Underwood 12-42 , Both the stock cut and mag are stamped IP.I . There is a proof firing test “P” on the bottom of the grip, and a faint visible cartouche on the stock. The gun comes with attached magazine, the canvas sling & oiler, and a mag pouch labeled G.B. MFG.CO. 1943. A very nice WWII carbine showing only light wear.
