Description
Type 99 sniper from the Kokura arsenal. This rifle is in pristine condition showing almost no age or wear. This is an all matching gun: Bolt, receiver, firing pin, safety, & bayonet lug ((886). The MUM has been removed & a kanji character had been added under the 99 symbol that author Fred Honeycutt (author of “MILITARY RIFLES OF JAPAN”) said probably signifies an arsenal rework of the rifle, with cleaning rod anti-aircraft arms and monopod not present.
