Description
One of the very last Navy Special rifles made Serial # 13772. ( highest # seen is 13819). As expected this gun is an amalgamation of spare or left over poor fitting parts with non-matching or non-numbered parts. Front barrel band looks to be aluminum with a sling ring, but no rear sling fitting. The stock & receiver barely fit together and the crude production overall “shouts” that the war is nearly over !
This is a unique piece showing the desperate times at the end of WWII. & worthy of an advanced collection.
