A very impressive large scope manufactured by the renown Negretti and Zambra. One of the finest instrument makers of the 19th century. The scope is housed in a very substantial wood looking case along with the extra eyepiece lenses and other items. The scope is a massive 64″ long and around 4-1/2″ – 5″ diameter. The tripod has wood legs and super heavy duty brass hardware. Tripod with legs closed is 65″ H. Overall good condition with just a few lite scuffs throughout. Please see photos.
