This three frame set includes. The original 1860 photo portrait story with the numbering 140a and 140b. of 1000. These images were created 1955 from glass negatives found in 1952 by King Hostick of Springfield, IL. The negatives were originally taken by Alexander Hesler in June of 1860 in Springfield, Illinois for Lincoln’s Presidential campaign. Hostick had Herbert Georg Studio of Springfield, Illinois created these photographs. The two images are 12″ by 15″ photographs and all three frames are matching 18.5′ x 23″. They all have non-glare glass which may also have UV protection. The first run was only 100 and smaller. This limited run was for 1000.
