Description

Two Native American style hand-woven wool textiles featuring traditional geometric patterns in a striking palette of cream, deep burgundy red, brown, and grey. The larger textile exhibits a classic eye-dazzler or serrated diamond motif, while the slightly smaller textile showcases a balanced pattern of stylized geometric blocks and diamonds. Both pieces display the characteristic texture and weight of hand-loomed wool weaving, typical of Southwestern trade rugs or mats. Objectively, both textiles show minor signs of handling and edge wear consistent with age, with one piece exhibiting a noticeable frayed tear along the top border as detailed in the close-up photograph. H 58″, W 29″. Please see photos for condition.
