Description
This striking Plains Indian style war club features a heavy, double-pointed stone head secured to a wooden haft with meticulously stitched rawhide. The handle is fully encased in rawhide and adorned with traditional seed beadwork in vibrant green, white, and red geometric patterns, likely dating to the late 20th century as a high-quality contemporary or decorative piece. The craftsmanship displays classic fringed rawhide accents at the junctions of the beadwork and a beaded drop at the base of the handle. The item appears to be in excellent condition with the stone head firmly attached, the rawhide remains supple and intact, and no significant bead loss is visible. H 2.25″, W 3.5″, D 28″. Please see photos for condition.
