Description

A beautifully crafted pair of Native American Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) or Great Lakes style pucker-toe moccasins, likely dating to the early-to-mid 20th century. The soft buckskin leather features a striking black velvet tongue and ankle cuff, intricately adorned with vibrant, raised floral beadwork in shades of green, yellow, and white. The interior of the tongue reveals a classic blue-and-white gingham fabric lining, and the red silk ribbon trim along the collar remains largely intact. Overall, the piece is in very good vintage condition; the beadwork on both moccasins is in excellent shape with no notable loss, and the soles show authentic wear consistent with age. The ribbon ties on the front are present but very fragile. H 3″, W 4.25″, D 10.5″. Please see photos for condition.
