Description

This exceptional pair of Native American style moccasins features beautifully executed, tight beadwork showcasing vibrant floral and clover motifs against a solid white beaded ground on both the vamps and ankle cuffs. Crafted from supple, soft-tanned buckskin leather, the construction includes classic puckered toes, rich burgundy felt or wool ankle linings, and contrasting blue leather trim with integrated lace ties. Stylistically reminiscent of Woodland or Plateau region artistry from the mid-to-late 20th century, these moccasins present an authentic aesthetic that speaks to traditional indigenous craftsmanship. The beadwork remains remarkably intact, tight, and secure across both pieces, with vibrant coloration preserved throughout. The leather uppers show light handling, while the undersides display a dark, honest patina and heavy surface soiling consistent with genuine historic wear or use. H 4″, W 4″, D 10″.
