Description

This dynamic mixed-media fine pewter sculpture, titled “Pursued,” is a masterfully crafted work by renowned artist Christopher A. Pardell for Legends. Depicting the legendary Lakota leader Crazy Horse on horseback drawing a bow, the piece beautifully marries a brilliant bronze finish on the rider with a striking polychrome hand-painted finish on the horse. The sculpture rests on an integrated pewter terrain base adorned with a gold-accented arrowhead, all mounted atop a polished oval black marble plinth displaying a gold-stenciled artist signature. It is a limited edition piece marked 398/750 and stamped “Fine Pewter U.S.A.” The sculpture presents in very good visual condition from the front, though there is a visible crack on the reverse side of the pewter base with a small chip missing that does not detract from its forward-facing display. H 9″, W 10″, D 5.5″. Please see photos for condition.
