Description
This expansive collection features 88 distinct lithic artifacts, showcasing a remarkable variety of North American projectile point styles, scrapers, and bifacial tools. The assembly includes a vibrant array of materials, ranging from translucent chalcedony and colorful jaspers to mottled cherts, obsidian, and milky quartz. Notable forms present include several stemmed and notched archaic-style points, alongside larger lanceolate blades and utilitarian scrapers, likely originating from various regions across the Midwest and Western United States. The collection displays a wide range of knapping techniques, from sophisticated pressure flaking to more utilitarian percussion work. Condition varies across the lot; while many pieces retain sharp edges and intact tips, several specimens show ancient impact fractures, modern edge nibbling, or basal thinning chips consistent with field-find collections.
