Description
This diverse collection of approximately 70 lithic artifacts showcases a wide range of prehistoric tool-making traditions, featuring various points, scrapers, and bifacial tools. The assembly includes a variety of materials common to North American regions, such as various colors of chert, flint, jasper, and translucent chalcedony. Styles represented appear to range from Archaic to Woodland periods, with several stemmed and notched projectile points alongside larger preforms and utilitarian scrapers. The items generally show expected archaeological wear; while some tips and ears exhibit ancient or modern chips, the collection remains a robust study group with several high-quality, colorful specimens.
