Antique Iron Branding & Forged Tools
This collection of five antique hand-forged iron tools features a standout “M” or “W” block branding iron, likely hailing from an American Western or mid-century agricultural setting. The set includes a variety of utilitarian implements: a T-handle poker, a hooked pick, and several loop-handled rods, all displaying the classic dark patina and rugged construction of early 20th-century blacksmithing. The branding iron is heavy-duty with a deep-set character, while the surrounding tools show the hand-hammered irregularities of functional folk art. The iron is in good antique condition with expected surface oxidation, minor pitting, and heavy rust consistent with age and outdoor use, though the structural integrity remains solid.
